Staff Infection Point Of Entry Why Does The Medical Staff Rub Your Arm With Alcohol Before Giving A Shot.?

Why does the medical staff rub your arm with alcohol before giving a shot.? - staff infection point of entry

Bather of bacteria, then what is the point in cleaning with alcohol. Does it make sense somehow psychosomatic? Should he go to betadine? Would it be better to prevent infection?

Alcohol kills bacteria but not spores, but clean the area with cotton soaked in alcohol will reduce the chances of bacterial spores on the skin in your blood and cause an infection.
